TTC Series
I’m doing a series on the Toronto transit system. If I’m riding the TTC alone it is almost inevitable that I find myself thinking about life. I believe that part of it stems from all the different people surrounding you. Anonymous people, with various and obviously differing backgrounds, lifestyles, experiences, and so on. Most of them seem to be detached from where they are at the moment, which I think encourages that kind of detachment from my own surroundings. To me the TTC is where a huge opportunity for humanism collides with no one giving a fuck. These photos are visual thoughts about life, questions that aren’t answered. This is going to be an ongoing project I think, but here’s a start.
