Abandoned Office Tower
Me and a couple friends(Jacob and Matt) managed to evade a security guard and hop through a window of an abandoned 10 story building in Toronto. So great, there was a ton of stuff to shoot. Let me know what you guys think, I tried to keep the photocount down, it was hard haha.
TTC Series
I’m doing a series on the Toronto transit system. If I’m riding the TTC alone it is almost inevitable that I find myself thinking about life. I believe that part of it stems from all the different people surrounding you. Anonymous people, with various and obviously differing backgrounds, lifestyles, experiences, and so on. Most of them seem to be detached from where they are at the...
Dahlia (Exam Photo)
This was for my final exam in Studio Photo, we had to shoot it in class and it was timed. I like how it came out.
Drainage Ditch/Tunnel
Me and a friend who bikes went to check this out to see if it was rideable. It’s right beside a large highway in Toronto that we go on often. Unfortunately there was a lot of water, so we just took photos.
Abandoned Houses!
I went to this block of abandoned houses with a couple friends to shoot photos. It was fun, here’s few of the photos.

On the Roof
I’ve always wanted to shoot from a roof, and today was my day. In the form of the top of a 2+ story warehouse that felt like I could fall through at any time, really spongy. I love how they turned out…basically the same shot I know but I can’t decide on which trick is best for the photo.
Vodka Product Shot
I tried to do something different with this one, pretty bored with the routine.
Rail
I was initially happy with this, but now I think it needs to be reshot.
Another One
Yet another music party. Unfortunately(or fortunately…) I was far too intoxicated to take awesome photos. Somehow I managed to get a few with cool colours and ghosts though, I’m partial to the second one even though it could have been shot better in so many ways.
Scott
Just really happy with how this portrait turned out.
Alex Finds a Wallride
We went to this wallride that he had found earlier, and he started blasting. Such a nice sunny day too.
Notro BMX Jam!
What a great weekend. Friends down that you don’t get to see all the time, partying, ridiculousness, and being part of a crazy contest. The place lost it every time this guy, Drew Bezanson, hit the course. This was his final trick, he went down hard on it and cut his head open (even with his helmet on), but went for it again. Landed Clean.
Photoshoot For Stacey's Album Cover
This was pretty fun, we just wandered around downtown Toronto for a while looking for good places to shoot.
VIA Rail
I shot this on the VIA on my way back to Toronto from Belleville, from reading break I think. It’s not the most well composed shot(the train rips) but something about it…
Geese
This was shot somewhere between like 1 and 4am, almost no light but the light that’s there is pretty great.
Nicole
I’m happy with this, just the naturalness of it I think. That fucking marbled background though…
Party
Yet another music party, probably the most successful photo wise thus far.
Drabness Undrabbed
Some warehouses close to my apartment that have different temperature lights…
Also, a plant or something.
Self Portrait
My eye had swollen up for no reason, which was really awkward but ended up with a decent photo idea.
Montreal's Le Taz

Toronto Transit
The Cosmic Eye
The first show I’ve ever shot, it was a fun time for sure.
Fog
This was a great night for photos, there was so much fog and it had just rained. So diffused.
Hanging Out at the Skatepark
Self Portrait
I was going to use this for an album cover assignment, I ended up going with another photo though. Back when I was rocking some scruff.
Firestation
There was a guy in here that was super suspicious of me, he came out and we ended up talking abou cameras for 10 minutes or so.

Family Panorama
The concept was to juxtapose youthful energy against jaded adulthood, but flip it on it’s head. Sort of a commentary on how many kids today have more enthusiastic/youthful/rebellious parents, and the reaction is to be more conservative and less brash in nature. For example the advent of indie for youth today vs the loud rock their parents grew up with.

Richard Avedon Imitation Project
I had to imitate Richard Avedon for a project, and it had to be B&W. I tried to work around his Marilyn Monroe portrait, the lighting isn’t the exact same but we went for the same expression.
